I'm Anand

A motivated young professional with an amalgam of unique experiences looking to further knowledge and experience while contributing to society. I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and am currently a Kaggle Competitions Expert (ranked 792 globally). Personal Website V2
A fully responsive personal website that showcases current projects and achievements. It's built using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The website is deployed via github pages. It contains fluid scroll animations, custom graphics, 3D voxels, a dark mode with saved preferences, and a contact form using Formspree.

Trading Bot
Algorithmic trading bot that conducts financial and sentiment analysis for tickers on high traffic subreddits and stock tweets . The multi-model pipeline achieved an alpha of 4.94 (compared to the S&P500) with a beta of 1.07, providing an average annual return of approximately 15.04% through back testing with data since 2003 compared to the 10.1% provided by the S&P500. Testing with funds in a brokerage account since Jan 2020 has resulted in a portfolio value increase of 1360%.

Event Attendance Tracker
A custom-designed PCB with an ESP-32 micro-controller, and a companion android application that provides a comprehensive system to tracks event attendees at a booth. Developed a custom distance determining algorithm that achieves an accuracy of 99.04% in determining the booths attended, a >35% increase over tested alternatives. Fall 2020 - Team 13, winner of 'Best Engineered Project' award (ECE445).

A pipelined version of the LC3-B microprocessor and the RISCV Microprocessor based on the RV32I ISA. Both microprocessors have advanced features such as branch prediction, cache, hazard detection, etc.

Object Detection System
An object detection and classification pipeline built in Python using TensorFlow. The model is trained using the Fashion-MNIST dataset, built using two separate methods - Keras and Low-Level APIs, achieving an accuracy of 92% and 89.7% respectively.

A linux OS built from ground up including both Assembly and C code. Fully supports keyboard and mouse input, implements a read-only file system, and supports multiple terminals and active tasks through the use of paging and scheduling.
